Cherise artfully prepares the clients product or dish, ensuring its presentation is technically correct and visually appealing, whether it be a luscious dessert or a brand of boutique pet food.

Cherise is a creative, professional food stylist, with over 16 years in the industry.

“I love my job, and I especially enjoy making the food on the plate the shining star of every shot”.

As a food stylist, Cherise works in all areas of editorial, advertising, TVCs and packaging, and has contributed to food and lifestyle magazines, such as Delicious Magazine, Food & Wine, Good Taste and Women’s Weekly.

She is heavily involved in cookbook publishing, often completing marathon photo shoots over periods of up to eight weeks.

Tasks include props acquisition, props styling, and cooking and checking recipes.

As a qualified chef, Cherise has an extensive knowledge of food and how it behaves, both scientifically and aesthetically, invaluable skills on the photographic set.
